Faconnable
In 1950, Jean Goldberg founded 'Faconnable' in Nice, France. End of one year this company designing gowns and tuxedos for the Hollywood stars who came for the Cannes Film Festival. In 1961, Albert Goldberg took over the company from his father. The company grew quickly and opened stores in Paris, Monte Carlo and Marseilles. In 1988 marked Faconnable's expansion overseas. After an agreement with Nordstrom, Faconnable opened its first store in New York, Soon after, one in Costa Mesa and one in Beverly Hills. In 2000 Nordstrom bought the Faconnable company. It was sold again to private Lebanese equity, the 'M1 Group'.
Faconnable has a line of seven fragrances. In 1994 the first fragrance hit the market. There are four of these fragrances are for men and three are designed for women. The men's fragrances include Face a Face pour Homme, Faconnable, Faconnable Stripe & Faconnable Homme. Women fragrance line includes Face a Face pour Femme, Faconnable pours Elle & Faconnable Femme. Faconnable's fragrance line is designed by Perfumers Gerard Anthony and Nathalie Lorson.
