Puma

The history of 'Puma' is the history of inventions, product innovations and of sportsmen, who wrote with these inventions sports history. Puma accompanied Pele in the WM Finals, Boris Becker on the lawn of Wimbledon and Linford Christie in Barcelona to Olympia gold.

Puma was created by Rudolf Dassler in 1948 in Herzogenaurach. In close cooperation with Spitzenathleten, it constantly developed Puma products further by outstanding technological innovations and by material improvements to the use for each sportsman. It became one of the most successful addresses in the sports article industry and now produces many accessories such as perfume and cologne.
