Danielle Steel was Born in New York in 1947 and raised in both The United States and Europe, he was the only child of parents who divorced when she was eight years of age. Developing an early love for composition Steel began to write stores as a child moving onto poetry as a teen. She studied literature and fashion at Parsons School of Design for a year until she moved to New York University.
