Isaac Mizrahi

Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi was born in Brooklyn, NY. He made a name for himself with his 1986 debut clothing line, selling the collection to Bergdorf Goodman. In 1994, his eponymous line received funding through Chanel. In 1998, Chanel pulled funding for his designs, and he was forced to close shop. After a stint in a one-man show called Les Mizrahi, he briefly became a talk show host before returning to his first love of fashion in 2003. Turning the fashion world on its head with his Target partnership announcement, Mizrahi brought runway quality garments to fashion-hungry mass retailers while simultaneously constructing high-end couture pieces for Bergdorf Goodman. Isaac Mizrahi revived the fading Liz Claiborne brand with his boldly colored, animated designs in 2009. Mizrahi joined QVC with his signature hats and jewelry collections, as well as off-the-wall, embellished cheesecakes, in 2009

Isaac Mizrahi entered the fragrance marketplace with his 2012 Fabulous for Women fragrance. He expanded his women's scent offerings in 2013 with Fabulous Intense and in 2014 with Eau So Fabulous. Mizrahi is also a highly celebrated set & costume designer.
